Governmental Affairs Committee

Monitors the activities of the Illinois State Legislature and federal legislation. The committee reviews and recommends issues for new legislation to be introduced and determines on which proposed legislation the association will take a position. Whenever appropriate, this committee reviews local and federal proposed legislation. The committee is responsible for raising funds for the UCA Political Action Fund (UCA PAC) and expending the funds in the best interest of the association.

The Legislative Committee is scheduled to meet on the following dates in 2010.*
